The hotel was close to the shops & mountains, it was very quite. A nice walk to trails & the lake. We had taken the train, so was close to the drop off. The staff was very friendly and kept our bags before check in & after check out.
The Listel Hotel was the least expensive hotel with clean rooms in Whistler.
I spend annually over 200 nights/year on business trips around the world from Europe to North America and Australia. For the price of approx. Can$ 200,00 incl. parking garage I stayed in better hotels. The Listel Hotel was noisy, the staff friendly but inexperienced (trainees).
Friendly staff at reception who were very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location.
The wifi was fairly slow, we wouldve appreciated a kitchenette, but mostly our room was very noisy due to being on level 2 adjacent to the street, snow ploughs and buses.
Location in village was great, close yet away from the noise. The beds were very comfortable.
It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.
Nice, basic - no surprises. They were somewhat challenged with parking but I expect is a common problem for all of whistler - not a roomy place for cars.
Convenient as it was close to golf course & driving range & village. Reasonable rate was acceptable
No air conditioning and $18.00 parking per night.
The site I booked our reservations on said that there was a swimming pool, this was important to our having a great summer weekend retreat. When I arrived I found out that there was no pool. The next morning when I was reading your list of services in your Listel binder to my suprise it listed a swimming pool. So the pool was filled in and someone forgot to inform the paying customer, how sad is that?
very polite helpful staff very comfortable nice rooms
firstly we were able to check in early and then have a later check out and longer car parking. This made it so much easier for a short stay in whistler. The included breakfast was adequate. We did not use any other facilities.
The breakfast coffee was disappointing.
we were recieved at the desk and guided quicly through our reservation i wanted to pay cash for our room and the clerk reveresed my credit card and cleared our cash payment qiuckly also offered us parking in underground long before our check in time which was appreciated as every one that visits whistler finds out that parking around the village is a challenge We would love to stay here again next time were in whistler
Complimentary breakfast was a definately plus
Many yong teenagers stayed at the same weekend and produced lots of noise
Been renovated to a high standard and a continental breakfast was included in the price
Room was compfy and clean.
Parking $18 (ex tax)
The hotel is well situated in the village with easy access to all amenities. The staff are helpful and friendly and the rooms are comfortable with everything you need. All in all a good budget friendly hotel.
The only negative point I have is that my room was made up quite late in the day.
the staff were extremely helpful, the room was clean and comfy and good that it provided shower gel and shampoo, the bed was comfy, good duvet and pillows. I liked that there was access to internet in the foyet.
cold breakfast only. would have been super if a hot buffet was served.
